Yeah, I've thought about trying that, but mine's so tiny I don't trust him not to get sucked up thru a tubing

Bottle on the intake? How do u get it to stay in place? I'm actually thinking of deviding this tank and upgrading my breeding pair from their 2.5 gals and spliting the 10 for them till I'm ready to place them together in the breeding tank but never devided a tank I got some questions. What would be best substrate? I have some live plants to break their line of sight but never seen a devided tank with male and female is there a reason for that? And lastly thank you all for responding and helping me.

Just put the bottle on the bottom of the tank, and then put the intake into that. It'll just stay up. It stays up in my 10g.
