Root Tabs

Hi all -
I recently added API root tabs to my 4G tank to help with root growth and in one day my too Marimo Moss balls turned brown!

I checked PH levels and all is fine, was it the root tablets?

Anyone else experience this?

What plants do you have in the tank that need root tabs? Only really heavy root feeders like swords need them. If you want general fertilization, it's better to go with a liquid fert like Flourish Comprehensive. Most aquarium plants absorb nutrients through their leave and not their roots.
