I was visiting my Pet Supermarket today and they just got a new shipment of bettas... I almost left the store with this one... almost!



I think he is rather unusual, love the coloring. Not that I know a lot about this, but if I had the room for another tank, this is the one I would take home with me.

He looks a little "bead up"by what was more than likely a rough journey from the breeder, and the small cup can't be easy to deal with. But he is a handsome boy!

I was wondering if anyone else runs in to some special bettas in your local fish store... please share the photos. :)

If I had the space I would have a diluted mustard gas HM (actually SIlverfang on the forum got him) and a dalmatian. There are some multi's I might have which their patterns intrigued me. But I saw like 2 baby blue marbly bettas before (one was CT one was VT) they were pretty. And finally, I hate that I never rescued him for lack of space but a plain brown chocolate VT with yellow fins was in one LPS for a couple months dying with fin rot. He is always in my heart.

Two recent regrets: A pink dragon halfmoon from Petco and a lovely little girl - magenta and blue spadetail, from Pet Supermarket. No tanks for the dragon, and I can't start the sorority project till after our trip (which starts this weekend at least!)

There lots of fish I would love to get but i'm sure my mum wouldn't let me get another tank!

Sure, I'll hop in. This is my first betta, picked up on impulse, from one of the big pet stores. I call him Lucky.
