Does anyone's Betta eat pellets whole?

None of mine eat them whole, I have to crush them, I don't like letting them soak since it removes nutrients...

Why do they make the pellets so big? I'm not going to buy small ones, the ones I bought were on SALE for $6!!

My Female Bettas eat the small mini Pellets and my Male Bettas eat the large pellets whole. Some of my Bettas only want to eat flakes and frozen foods.

Cleo can eat a whole pellet, minimum chewing.
Demyx can eat a whole pellet, maximum chewing.
Cole can eat four pellets at once, the end.
