White Spot on Head after water change

I changed 3 gallons out of the 5.5 tank last night and today my fish has a white spot on its head. He seams to be acting normal. When I zoom in the first pic it looks like a cut.

Housing
What size is your tank? 5.5
What temperature is your tank? 76
Does your tank have a filter? yes
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No
Is your tank heated? No
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? Live Plants

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? omega one betta pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? 3 to 4 pellets a day . one pellet, pre soaked in tank water every few hours.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? New tank not cycled. every 2 -3 days. I have a test kit and all lvls have been perfect.
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? I take out 3 gallons of a 5.5 tank each change.
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Prime ( I think I use more than the directions )

I changed 3 out of the 5 gallons 24 hours ago. I have a master kit I'll test it after I post the pics.

How old is your fish (approximately)? got it from store 2 weeks ago.

Did he bump/scrape his head against anything? He looks a wee bit bloated as well. Were the pictures taken right after a feeding?

yes I had just given him a pellet.

Did he scrape/bump his head on anything? What is your net like? Is it rough or does it feel like a jersey-like material? Do you use it with the sewn part inside (where the fish sits) or on the outside? If you don't use a net, what do you use?
