New Guy + Photo Shoot!

Hey!
I decided to go to an actual aquarium store (Big Al's) to get a sponge filter and air pump. The stores near me don't carry sponge filters Made a stop to look at the Bettas they had, and of course got sucked in!

They were in house in glass bottles and jars, very clean water! No dead fish. One had an injury and they took him off the shelf and the one lady who works there was going to try and nurse him back to heath. They were kept at 80F (the whole fish areas was toasty! As they specialize in tropical fish), it made me so happy to see them taken care of The lady who sold him to me was even happier that I knew he had to have 80F water, and at least 2 gallons of space

WOW! I haven't been into the hobby for too long, but I've never seen clear fina like that! Both your boys are beautiful!

I see you have the floating Betta log- did you have any problems with paint coming off yours? I ordered mine online and I rinsed it really well with warm water. Then I put it in my tank and the next time I siphoned I was getting a million paint chips out of the gravel.

Thanks! Unfortunately Dragonfly is a tail biter Going to be doing a 2.5 natural planted tank for him soon. See if that helps....

Ugh yes! Only when I wash it, well when I scrub it. I haven't found any floating in the tank or in the gravel. My Dragonfly friggin' LOVES it!!!
