Silly Fish...

Indy HATES it when I do 100% water changes. And I mean hates it. He starts freaking out and gets stress stripes out the wazoo pretty much as soon as I cup him, and proceeds to swim around like a madman the entire time I'm cleaning. And glare at me with his evil fish eyes.
Anyway, I did one yesterday and he acted like his normal self, freaked out the entire time, even when I put him in a shady part of my bookshelf and tried to keep the noise minimal. He always makes me feel so bad xD.
But, this morning, I woke up to find that he'd built a bubble nest in his new clean water. So, I guess he does love me after all :P. He's not much of a bubble nest builder, usually.
I haven't had a betta since I was a kid, and I swear they have more personality than any other fish I've ever owned. I think I've been bit by the betta bug! Anybody else got stories about their silly fish?

One of my fish does this, too!!! He absolutely HATES being cupped!

Surprisingly, he's really easy to get IN the cup - he usually swims right in to check it out. But once I scoop him up he acts like the sky is falling
