My Bettas

Hey I figured I'd share my pictures .. I'm one of those people who read forums and don't post much.. but I love looking at others pictures, and figured hey, why not sign up and show you mine since you showed me yours :)

This is Regulus, bought at Petsmart today, he was pretty stressed with 2 males flaring at him all day.. I liked his colors and decided to take him home





This is Ted, he's about 3 years old in a 5 gallon mini bow tank all by himself. He spends most of the time in his aztec head ornament but he's finally learned to come out for regular feedings. He's a tailbiter, but gotten better. His tail used to be Green faded to blue faded to purple but now it's just a mesh of green and blue with no clear fading line since his tail grew back.





This is my other 10 gallon tank with 6 mountain minnows (3g/3b) and 4 ghost shrimp and a zebra snail

So I got Regulus a new friend (for the other half of a divided tank). A friend heard I was looking and this guy was one she picked up last week at petsmart that she felt sorry for

What do you guys think?




I'm also open to naming options for both fish, I'm not completley set on Regulus as the red one's name

Very pretty bettas. I love how the last fish is a pretty salmon colour. :)

He's sort of whiteish blue.. hubby wanted a blue one, but I didn't like the others she had to offer.. She had a blue body white fins one, but he was down right mean in his tank and this one was just chillin swimming around so I chose him

I'm glad I picked him up.. in just the past day he's really blossomed and is totally happy in his 5 gallons beside Regulus.
