daphnia and vinegar eels question

So I got some vinegar eels and some daphnia cultures. Now, I can see the vinegar eels moving. THey are teeny tiny but I can see them. They look like little snakes. The daphnia? I cannot see ANYTHING moving at all. What exactly am I looking for?

Use a toothpick, and move it slowly along the bottom, for the daphnia. You should be looking for this: . Basically small white, or black dots darting through the water. They don't always move, until you get close with something... Like a toothpick =D
