fake plants

Walmart doesn't have a good selection of tall fake plants that aren't too sharp, but what about stuff from the floral decorations section? You know, the fake flowers and such. I found some nice green leaves that look a lot like my fake silk plants. Would those be okay to use?

My concern with plants from the floral department is that, as they are not designed for aquariums, they may leach colour or other additives from the plastic stems into the water.
