I've had wonderful luck with Jungle Fungus Eliminator. I had a major fungus problem with several rescue bettas years ago, and that was the only thing I could use that got rid of it. Plus, it doesn't seem to be too strong or cause them to stop eating or anything. It *does* cause the water to turn yellow, and I believe there's a 50 or 100% water change in the middle of the treatment, but I've had it work beautifully before for me.
I'm sure that some other people will be able to give you some more options as well, good luck to you, he's a cute little guy!
