They keep probably 80% of them in divided half gallon boxes. like this:

Aww that's kinda stupid tho since if one is sick then both would be sick :(

what's even dumber is that the dividers aren't really anchored in there and sometimes two sections become one. Oy. I caught that once, with two females in an undivided box. I waited until the dominant one swam to the other side and flipped the divider closed. The other poor fish was missing half of her tail.

She wasn't always Black, she marbled that color. She was 1/2 pale yellow with only black on her back.

The other one, Olivia, she looked olive but colored up to a darker color with pretty blue webbing in her fins. Those ugly looking olive ones, most I have gotten because they are the only one left, but almost all colored up nicely to black with blue or green fins.



This isnt Olivia but she looked very much like her
