R.I.P Fauna

I lost poor little Fauna today. She was in quarantine, was going to be part of my sorority. I'm glad that I didn't just throw them all together without QTing. She had been hanging around while I've had her- she wasn't eating- but I figured it was because she was new. I got her on Wednesday. This morning when I woke up, she was floating WEIRDLY. Not just floating to get air, her mouth was at the surface and her tail curved and the tip of it touched the surface. She was still alive- her fins were moving.

Then she continued, still alive. Eventually she went to the bottom of the tank and died minutes later. She had the same environment set up as the rest of my females is QT, so I think she was just sick when I got her. Her sister Pandora is acting well and nothing like Fauna was.

im sorry too a couple days ago i ordered a delta betta from the rice paddies and it died a couple days later it cost me 600$

Haha I was gonna say, we love our bettas but $600 is a bit extreme xD

That's really too bad. It is always hard when a pet dies. She was a beautiful fish, though!
