How do you guys mail bettas in the summer?

I know that usps uses ups trucks for long-distance delivery, but delivers it with the mail int the mail truck. they only use mail trucks to get from post office to home. I also know ups trucks get so hot that things regularly explode in the backs. Does a cool pack really help?

I want to make a hobby of going to petco, finding the sick (popeye, fungus) bettas and bringing them home, nursing them back to helath, and selling them online. could I try selling them locally instead?

Just without a heat pack. Its not that hot the full way through..... theyre either in a plane or building except the actual delivery.

This forum generally recommends colder water for some reason...

Trust me. If it were to get that hot all of my snails and plants that I ship would be dead along with all of the live food cultures. They always have no insulation and arrive alive every single time. They are never dead, not a single one. I don't think they get that hot. And if they leave it over night then it will stay the outside temperature

Okay. But you have to realize, they still don't get that hot. Many sellers don't use cool packs for bettas, and I dnt even use cool packs. Neither do the sellers I Purchase from. I've never receive or sent anything that arrived dead
