Aquatic lilly bulbs?

So i bought these lilly bulbs that are supposed to be used as live aquarium plants from wallmart. Are they suppose to float? o.O

They probaly wont sprout id take them back and get your money back... Or mail them in they will just rott and foul the water... Feal the bulb if its firm you may have a chance, if its smushy its rotting. I got three boxes of these plants (i exchanged them) none sprouted

The bulb is pretty firm. It's not in the tank right now, I put in in a glass of water.

I'm most likely going to return it and get a silk plant instead.

I got a combo pack of bulbs from PetCo which included a waterlily bulb (its rather big, about the size of a quarter and very thick). It took about a week for it to start sprouting, and now its going crazy in my tank. I'm fairly certain I got very lucky with my pack of bulbs, considering only one rotted and now all but one of the remaining are sprouting (two onions, two aponogeton, and one waterlilly). Anyway. Some bulb suppliers guarantee growth in 30 days. You could keep it until then, and if it does nothing, send it in to them and they'll give you new bulbs. I've also heard that they send back higher quality bulbs than the ones they normally sell.

Dont give up on live plants they are really cool !
