Romeo's tail

He bit his tail down even more. I am getting frustrated

Are you sure he's the one biting it and it's not fin rot? Fin rot can be very fast acting and deadly. If he is biting his tail, might there be some external parasites or something causing irritation that would cause him to bite his own tail?

This page really helps with betta 411, maybe take a look at it and determine if it might be fin rot or a parasite?

He has bitten his tail in the past out of boredom. T_T I am sure he has bitten it again

Get more Decorations. It will help his Boredom. Clean Water and High-Protein Foods should heal him. Use Aquarium Salt if it turns to Rot.

Hey!
I also have a tail biter

What works for him is a smaller tank, with LOADS of decorations I have tons of decorations that I switch around each month. I take some out, add some different ones and such! Plus I got him a floating Betta log, which he adores. I've also put bottle caps in, a piece of craft mesh, I even tied a bottle cap to a plant so it floats in the tank. I also got a sponge filter, so it doesn't create such a big current.
