Question Questions Regarding HMPK Conformation

I am still attempting to understand HMPK conformation and I have a few questions.

1. On a HMPK is a rounded anal is preferred over a pointed anal unless it comes to a balanced point?

2. On a HMPK the body is preferred thick correct?

And lastly, I have seen this male and comparing him to the standard it seems the only thing with him I don't like his is ventral's are a little longer than his anal BUT he is only 2.7 months old, so he has a little growing out to do still.
Are there any little things in a HMPK I should know about that I should be aware of?

Ever Curious,
Sincerely

P.S. Here is the boy in question

Depends on the kind of plakat. Traditionals are to have more of a point to the anal, and asymmetricals are a bit thicker at the end.

I'm in the process of building my Betta Splendens of Colorado website, but I have the Plakat section done-

Let me know if it helps. ^-^

When buying young males, remember that they have growing ahead of them. The problem with this guy is that he will have very long and (probably) protruding ventrals. Always seek younger males with shorter than ideal ventrals and anal.

All types are preferred to have a wider end (where caudal grows) because it will allow bigger and wider caudal.

To answer both of you questions; yes, correct.
