Little Blooie died today. One of my Siamese warfish.
He was a good little fish. He bit me a couple of times while I was playing
around with him. What a shockwave. He was big and boney and proud.
He was my longest-lasting fish. I noticed he wasn't doing too well
last night. He was just trying to stay afloat and breathe. These
thypes of fish have to breathe outside air; they can't get it
completely from the water like most other kinds of fish.
Now I'll have to get a new playmate for little Red. I think it was the
stress of being in the same tank with Red that killed him. At first
Blooie was the aggressor, but little Red caught on quickly and
although little Red's bite is not as hard as Blooie's was, it's hard
enough to rip a fin off.
Say a prayer for little Blooie. May he rest in peace down the chute.
