Question No poop?

Yet another question:

I know betta fish poop. But, Dumbledore...I've never noticed if he does or not. I do watch him when he eats, but don't really sit there long enough to look. When I look in his tank I don't see things on the bottom, but I do have black rocks so anything dark colored you can't see anyway. He doesn't seem like anything is bothering him, he's swimming normally, eating like a hog, full of color.

Now, maybe I just don't know what I'm looking for/where to look, I am a new betta owner. If he is constipated, what can I do for him to make him comfortable? Thanks.

When you clean his tank, you should see food-colored poo :o if you're still not seeing any after cleaning the tank then you should use 1tsp ES salt (non-scented and non-fancy) per gal and treat him for a few days.

Hope this helps~

Yeah I dont see much when I vaccum the gravel in Perseus`s tank either, just a couple of times. Unless he is bloated I would not worry about it. I have read sometimes they will eat it time I saw Perseus down at the gravel and it looked like he munched on something but that was days ago and no problem from it only gross to think Its like hey I feed you plenty little dude stop
