I've been browsing this site for awhile and I thought, well I should join!
I've owned them for only about a month so I need lots of tips and advice, please and thank you><

My first one is a beautiful halfmoon. His name is Cat♥


Terrible quality but you can at least see his fins..

Second bubby is a blue veiltail named Food


Poor baby's left pectoral fin is all torn up.. His anal and caudal fins are white/colourless on the edges too.. Petshop said its a fin rot/stress so Im treating him with bettafix but sigh.. He's making my heart ache! :(

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Food's fin doesn't look like fin rot. It looks more like growing fins. If he is lethargic, then it might be fin rot but otherwise it isn't.

Try posting another picture in the disease section, if possible of him flaring so people could tell for sure whether it's fin rot or not.

Ooh... fin rot makes bettas lethargic? I didn't know that.
He's healthy as he could be.. eats a lot poops a lot swims a lot.
Maybe it's stress? I will post up a clean picture of him >< Thank you!
