Large-ish tank size/price

I've seen a lot of posts on here about not having enough money/space for a larger tank. I got my 10 gallon long for $12 at Walmart. It fits (with room to spare) on my nightstand, which is not an oversized piece of furniture. It's fairly inexpensive to get a good sized tank, and the tank doesn't take up as much space as you'd think.

I agree, I tried to replace one of my broken 5 gallons, but surprisingly it is more expensive than the dang 10 gallon! lol

The price I pay for my tanks is $1 a gallon.. my hubby was eyeing a nice 55 gallon and my LFS wanted almost $100 for it :O and that's just the tank! I think I'd rather keep an eye on craigslist or look around .. never make an impulse buy. If you know what you want, keep looking for it, never settle for anything less.
