If she is rinsing the gravel during every 100% change, I'm not sure what could be disturbed that would ill the fish.

I would just change the food, what kind of pellets are you feeding her? and if they are reg size, you may want to start feeding 3x a day..how many pellets, 2 at 2x a day?
If you change to a Higher quality food, it willsupply more nutrients, and help with the energy level..try Omega one, or Hakari, micro pellets..

I use the Aqueon Betta food pellets, I'm not sure whats big or small in size, but I feed them 3 pellets twice a day

In regard to cleaning the gravel, Just vaccum it with a Gravel vacuum/siphon.

What is the temp of the water ? Betta are more active in warm water. If you could get a picture and post it sometimes the people here can look at it to see if they see anything wrong with her. Has your Betta torn a fin or anything ? Check him out closely with a flashlight.

i think bacteria is irrelevant with a 2.5.
Did anything happen at home that could have affected her tank? and aince it's a female, are there any symptoms of bloat?

I fast them once a week she had a little tear in her side fin but she was still swimming normally with it but it's pretty much healed up now, I think she might be a little bloated, and the past few days have been extremely hot like hotter than it has been in a while could that have done something?

What is the water temp reading? Have you checked it often? or once a day?
