Should I try using Aquarium salts or epsom salts or anything?

I would check the temp
if too high
place a fan on the tank/put in the heater should the water temp get too low

id maybe try an Epsom salt treatment with daily 100% changes

If your fishy is struggling to breathe, you will want to lower the water level, and possibly move her to a Hospital tank, for treatment, so she can reach the surface easier.

I dont know if shes having trouble breathing she just sits at the bottom with her gills moving, and I'll try the epsom salt

anywhere
walmart
walgreens
etc

treat at 1/2 tsp per gallon
keep the bottom bear so you can see if she is pooing any. I'd also maybe stop feeding her for....a week-ish.

Could this be happening because I got a new betta recently and maybe she saw that she wasn't getting as much attention and could be dieing of a broken heart?

I don't think so
their typically not very social fish. The fact is, fish only see us as a source of food.
I'd give her some time/patience with the epsom salt, daily 100% changes/fastings for a week-ish. She may perk up.
