On Bubblebests

Prince Kaida blew his first substantial nest in a long time yesterday, but by the evening the bubbles had all popped. I heard any change in water level will make the bubbles pop, and it has been really warm up here this week. This morning I noticed him hard at work making a new one, but I was wondering if bubblenests usually last more than a day.

Seems to depend on the nest. I've had Chicory blow ones that survived a water change. And others that just fell apart on their own in a day or two. There doesn't really seem to be a "normal" here.

It also depends large on the humidity above the water surface...
