Mustard Gas Veiltail?

So my rescue came to me looking as though he had a black body and yellow fins, but in the days I've had him, the black has lightened to a dark blue and he reminds me of the mustard gas bettas I've seen, but those were only delta's and halfmoons, is it possible he's a mustard gas veiltail?

Note, the little tank he is in was only temporary for the 100% water change I did today. And I did use flash which lightened the blue color, it's normally a shade or so darker, but getting lighter every day

Veiltails can be any colour that halfmoons etc can be. I have owned a mustard gas veiltail a few years ago. I am not sure on exact colour classification but I think your boy is a mustard gas. Gorgeous boy Glad you rescued him!

Yup, he'd be a blue and yellow bi-colour.....most commonly referred to as Mustard
