Picky betta?

I have a female betta that i took out of my sorority tank because she wasnt getting any food and she started looking sickly(losing her color, sticking to the bottom of the tank), but now i have her in a "hospital bowl" of sorts to monitor her eating but she still wont eat. im currently feeding my bettas Atison's betta pellets. shes eaten the pellets before but doesnt seem interested now. should i be worried or is she just being picky?

totally picky and what i reccomend you get to feed her

PICKY!!!! Bettas are known to be picky. Get her freeze-dried bloodworms. I had my betta on pellets and she liked them for a while then hated them. She started eating again when i gave her freeze dried bloodworms.

I heard micro pellets are good. Mine stopped eating then decided he likes flakes, he now does not want flakes and prefers the pellets. As far as I am concerned, they are worse than cats! Picky, picky, picky!

I read somewhere that soaking pellets in fresh gralic juice can get them to eat again. I personally have not needed to resort to this yet. But I have a bunch of diferent food, one to fit any mood.

He does not like freeze dried anything though.

I have a girl who would only eat frozen brine shrimp when I first got her. I just tried different things until something interested her. Now she also eats Daphnia and Omega One pellets. She still won't touch blood worms. I think your girl is probably just picky. Maybe you should try giving her a variety. Hopefully that will work for you as it did me.

When I first got my betta from petsmart he wouldn't eat either. Maybe he was sick or stressed.

I used a syringe with a long plastic tip and continually dropped the pellet on top of his forehead (close to his mouth) until he swallowed. Only works with presoaked sinking pellets.

After about 2 days of "spoonfeeding" he started eating on his own.

with bloodworms being treats, should i just feed her the bloodworms seldom throughout the week while also trying to get her to eat the pellets?

i just know that bloodworms arent a staple in their diet and i dont get paid until late next week, so would it be safe to just feed her bloodworms twice a week for this week?
