I DO NOT Need Another Tank... -.-

My mom sent me to Petco for cat food today. I looked at the fish and noticed they were having their dollar per gallon sale. I picked up a 10 gallon tank with the intention to have it on hand in the event I need to medicate a fish, since the dosages all seem to be for a 10 gallon tank. But now I'm thinking that instead of just having it lying around I could use the 10 gallon tank for a betta and some cute bottom feeders or maybe a sorority...

Someone PLEASE tell me I'd be better off leaving it alone and saving it in case I need to medicate a fish in a smaller tank...

Also it would make an awesome planted tank with snails and shrimp :p

I kill plants. xD All the water wisteria I bought a few weeks ago ended up dead and my moneywort isn't doing too well, either. I've been looking for hornwort or java moss, because I hear those are impossible to kill but no one near me sells it.

Though shrimp might be fun. I tried to put one in my 5.5 gallon tank with Beethoven, but the big bully killed the shrimp immediately. He didn't even want to eat it. I just found him hovering over the dead shrimp, staring at it like he was daring it to move one more time. xD Apparently there will be no tank mates for Beethoven.
