My betta was fighting with the snail for the algae wafers. LOL. I'm sure he would have gone after the calcium tablets too, but I put snail in his own place so he wouldn't be bullied by the betta.

There is nothing in a calcium tablet that anybody but a shell fish would want to eat. For the betta it would be like dropping in a piece of gravel. For the calcium deficient shell fish, it would be the nutrient it was missing.

Sorry I haven't been on to reply.

The one at the health store is a tablet and you would just drop it in. Check that it is purely calcium before adding it.

The one at the pet store will probably be liquid and you would add it as the instructions on the packet.

Hope this clears it up.
