:somewhat surprised: My betta has been doing just about the same thing 0_o He doesn't flare quite as he would with his relfection - his face stays the same, but his fins are pretty full. He swims around swiftly, and does sometimes hit the wall. I hope that he can be transfered into a 1g soon :-/

Maybe our fish are just energetic?

Depending on you lighting, he may be seeing his reflection in the glass, in which case you would want to change the lighting, the background, or the like, Otherwise he may bash himself to .

If there is something that he can see his reflection in outside of the tank, you need to remove it. I heard that if he bashes his head to many times he could even die. I dont know if it is true. Im just passing on info.
