House Sitter/Water changes?

I am having a house sitter for 10 days. They are there to care for my chins, birds, dog and fish.

My question is.... I'm a bit more afraid of having her change the water than I am of having the water not changed during this time., however I have two betta's who are home for the summer from my classroom. I didn't bring home their 5 gallon tanks so they are in a one gallon for the summer.... any thoughts

could you precondition the water and put them in jugs for the sitter to use?

I agree with MyRainbowBettaFish. A also do that myself. It makes my weekly water changes a breeze. But I do have 2 questions. You said you have both of them in a 1 gallon. Did you mean each betta in a 1 gallon tank or both in a 1 gallon tank divided? Secondly are the tank/s filtered, heated?

Well, I did precondition some water for the sitter and just had her do a couple partial changes and everyone survived.... gave them a 100% clean when arriving home... they were dirty, but everyone still looks pretty good!!
