New Betta!

Hi guys! Im new here and I came to talk about Kudo my betta fish! I've had him for about a month now and he's upgraded from a 1 gallon tank to a nice 5 gallon tank with light and filter. He's got at least three different plants in his tank, a nice log to hid in and another little building to play in. He has red and blue gravel and tomorrow he's getting 5 new tank mates (cardinal tetras). He has really changed since moving to the new tank. He's so much happier and has so much more room to swim around in. When we introduced him to his new tank, he did what I like to call a tour of the new place. He swam all around and checked out his new plants and buildings, every corner was investigated and he examined the filter. He's thrilled. He likes to hide in the log for quite some time, even had my husband worried there for awhile. Yup we're absolutely thrilled with Kudo and LOVE spoiling him!

Very nice post pictures! I don't really think you shoud have five tankmates. Remember to do a gallon per inch of fish. The betta will get up to 2.5 inches, so you probably shouldn't put too many tankmates. Anyways, I would love to see your tank.
