That's all I went to do. I decided to hit up this small shop that I never go to so I could see what they had in stock. I told myself I was just looking.
I'm looking through the bettas and I find this black crowntail, it has a sunkin stomach and in a bowl the size of a tea cup. I could swear it is black, although the shop keep said black bettas usually have a gray tint to them and he is just a real dark blue. He has a hint of blue on his caudal fin. Most of the fin is a gray, almost see through. Any hints on what he is?
He is swimming around pretty good, enjoying his new space. Hit the one food pellet I put in pretty hard. No signs of any scale damage. Fins look intact, did notice a small hole in his caudal. Got to go to work soon, hopefully he'll be ok.
I'll try to get some better pictures of him.
