question on soroities....

The local aquaculture store sells there males in mini vases and the females are all in a tank together. If I were to cycle my 10 gal I just purchased, would I be able to get all females from the same batch at the store and not have to worry about how I add them to the tank, since they are already acustomed to eachother. Silly question I know, but wasn't sure if a change in tank/senery would make a difference

You can put 5 or6 females in a 10 gallon tank. Make sure the tank has plenty of plants, real or fake and plenty of hiding spots for the girls. A change in scenery is fine. They'll establish a pecking order and there will be some nipping and chasing which is normal. I hope this helps.

There is a high chance that they will, since they need to re-establish their own territories again. This is completely normal
