:( Kingsly was my 'king halfmoon betta' I rescued from petco. I took him from that tiny cup and put him in my 40 long. He was so beautiful, that gorgeous green-blue with bright red fins. He had the best personality! Always following my fingers, swimming right up to me to say hi! He even gave me fishy kisses when i put my fingers in or rearranged the tank! It was so adorable when he tried to school with my rainbow fish or neon tetras. They were scared of him (since he was so much bigger, a monster at around 3 inches!). Unfortunately my filter's impeller broke in the middle of the night, causing such startling noise that he jumped, along with a cory cat. By the time I woke up he was already gone. I will always miss his friendly face :(
