I'm in America. Near the Washington D.C. area. :) But I'm not IN D.C. I'm just close near there.

Hi love the D fin and the colour is amazing my male is a veil-tail blue and i have 6 female betta splendens i agree they are amazing and hypnotic fish even watching them sleep on broad leafed plants is fun they sure like there comfort :) the bambo or Luckly Bamboo Dracaena sanderiana is very addaptable to tanks tho try to keep the leaves out of the water and watch out for burn's on the surface leaves im tempted to use them in a large aquarium but not sure how they handle hood life as yet ..

Hi Colleen

Frank is a real beauty and one lucky fish. I would get him a hiding spot until you get your live plants. Maybe a little bunch of silk plants over in one corner of the tank or a decorative cave. Bettas do love their hang out spots to chill in.

Welcome Colleen !

Frank is very handsome.

This is a super place for everything BETTA :) I spend tons of time browsing around here for info. Everyone is so helpful. If you ever have any concerns about your Betta, this is the place to come.

I received my Sparkle from a friend ... in a little bowl as a gift. Spent over $150.00 so far on his home and other stuff ... okay....FREE FISH that cost me lots of $$$$....BUT I LOVE HIM SOOOOO MUCH :) :) Actually, I want more Bettas...I am hooked. When I see all of them in those little bowls at the pet stores I want to buy all of them and give them a better home.... Geeeee I would need a bigger house !!!

I also have 7 kittehs that were 'saved' so to speak. No...they don't bother Sparkle. But they do like to drink water out of his tank when I have the hood off. Silly Kittehs.....lol
