Yep, the purple head is Ludey! :) Cleaned his tank today, he's back to nomming his tail :/

I do still have my tetras and guppies at work, I just don't have a big tank at home except for Cesar's home.

here's a link to a pic of my tetras.. sorry for the quality, it's with my cell phone and they are fast little buggers.. I got 6 of the 7 tetras in the shot and one of the guppies' tail. They just don't like to pose for pics (or I need a better phone!) :)

You're right, the pic is a bit blurry the guppies are quick!! lol The tetras are like, "meh, take our pic".. But they're only complacant because they're too lazy to move.

Cesar is a great find, he is very handsome. I love the picture you've shown titled 'Cesar flaring', it shows off his flashy fins. His colors clash resulting in a very nice, bright betta coloring. I also like his name. Did his aggressive nature result in the name, or something else?

He is a handsome guy and he knows it. Loves to show off if I stand in front of his home with a camera. The name WAS inspired by his aggressive nature! He always acts like a big king. He used to flare at his reflection non-stop.. now he only does it at night. He's always curious about something and constantly stalks me....most mornings I wake up to find him staring at me as if trying to wake me.

I don't know what to make of his colors though, they shimmer and change in the light when he's swimming. I know there are blues and reds in there but at times he also looks a little purple in the body. The video is really crappy and doesn't fully capture how beautiful he is in person.

So you're saying he's even MORE handsome than in the pictures and video you have shown? If that's little of his beauty, I'd like to see a lot.
