He looks yellow even in the blue water. His name is Lemon. Pics were taken with my blackberry so its not very good quality.

Pretty Betta! :) Oh, and here's something you should know. The fins of Crowntails are sensitive to hard water. They tend to curl. Don't worry if you have hard water, I do. It's harmless.

He's very pretty! Are you going to post pictures once he is in his tank? I'd love to see them! And Lemon is such a cute name

ty, yes i knew about CT and hard water, its one of the reasons i was never gonna get a CT. my PH always reads at like 7.8 so we will see what happens. I dont know the kh or gh though. and i will be posting pics soon of him in his tank so we can all see his actual true colour

Talking More pics! Lemon in his tank

the one in your profile pic is very pretty xShainax!

Got some better pics. He looks like he is stresing out a little in the pics he wasnt moving from that location but after i was done and i turned the LED lights that the tank has off he came up to the front of the tank. Tank is the tetra Cube it is sadly only 1.5 gallons but i really have no room. it comes with the 3i filter that is powered by an air pump. Im not using the cartridge that the filter came with. instead i cut a piece of filter floss to fit and i bought a bag of aquaclear bio max and opened the bag and stuck in as much bio max as i could in front of the filter floss so i can build a cycle. i put some nutrafin cycle in the tank to help. i always do this with new tanks. i guess it helps. i havent had much problems in the past. i also got the 8watt heater from marina. temp is showing at 80 right now. Might add a small pot in the tank so he can hide, not sure on that yet.

The tank
