Ideas For A New Tank??

My betta currently lives in a 2.5 gallon tank and I feel like it's a bit cramped. I'd like to go up to 5-10 gallons.

Anyone have any suggestions on good tanks?

I was thinking about the Fluval Edge because the design is awesome, but I've heard mixed reviews.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Fluval now also makes a shrimp-oriented cube tank with a lid.. with apparently none of the issues some the other models have had with safety, access, etc.

Though, for the cost of a Fluval, you could get a very nice (if less fashionable) standard 10 gallon and lights, and probably some active plant-friendly substrate (not cheap!), a stack of mopani wood and plants as well.

I say Fluval is pretty expensive, like Aid said, you can get a 10 gallon kit and get a bunch of other things for almost the same price depending on your area.

i got a 10 gallon kit with a top and lights and a filter, altho the filter was junk, it was still fairly cheap around $30. at Petsmart

I love my 5 gallon kit from Walmart (AquaTech) comes with everything except a heater and the filter is nice and quiet. $30

I just purchased a PetCo bookshelf 6.6 gallon and I love it! Comes with everything but a heater. The only drawback is everything is plastic and could be easily scratched or cracked if I'm not careful. $50
