last year i took a spur of the moment trip to new mexico in the middle of the night. I stopped at a rest stop just out of the raton pass up on a hill, and talked with a guy there, he said to me "DO NOT go into the bathroom here, bad things are there" so of course i didnt go in there, we talked some more, turns out the guy " makes this drive once a year", we looked at the stars, and got into our cars, I left first he was behind me. when i got back onto the highway his headlights were gone and no other cars were around. On the drive back home the next morning when i got to the area with the rest stop, there was no rest stop on either side of the road, and the hill there was just a hill. the rest stop before that area was a good 75 miles back way outside of the pass.

Oh boy. lol Guess I'll be trying to avoid nights on the highway, now. And good ol' I-80 is most of the drive... Plenty of nasty things happen there.

out here old highway 34 is pretty active. I hate late night drives on the highway. some of the things i saw going out to new mexico. the absolute worstpart was the feeling i got out there though, the last 2 times i went out there it has felt like the whole landscape was watching me

Yup, I'd have to agree that that's not a good feeling... Happens a lot when I'm on the road and there aren't any other cars. lol And it's bad when you feel like you're being judged by *corn* of all things.

Talking about the uninvited ghosts in the car... I think it could go along the lines of, "you stop, you invite" mainly because if you were to take a hitchhiker, you stop. Which not only in itself is dangerous, but the motion is saying "yes, we'll take you". But that is just my thought on it :p

I remember when I was about 13, looking outside the window of the living room there was a nicely dressed business lady (I don't know who she was), and I do not recall her face, who went next door, knocking on the door (I didn't hear anything) but there was no one home. There was a vehicle parked in the driveway (spare vehicle), and when she left she walked behind it out of my sight. I didn't see her walk out from behind it. I watched for a good few minutes and there was no movement, so I went outside and there really wasn't anyone there. :/

That makes sense about stopping, the only time we really stopped was for a train crossing

i have a picture of something unusual...
i was re Modelling one of the frog tanks, and i was taking pictures along the way,
and in the reflection in the heat pad seems to be a hooded outline i think
of a figure now i was alone and i know that,as i don't mess with the tanks
while people are in,too many distractions.
i've also from the corner of my eye seen a little boy on the stairs.
