So, I've recently lost by little buddy Bartleby the Betta. His tank is a ten gallon, HOB filter with plastic plants. His tank mates include a moss ball and 2x nerite snails (that do a fantastic job of clean up). I'm looking to supply this sizable home to another betta. However, I do have a question concerning water flow. I have a baffle on the filtration system to try and disperse the surface flow somewhat. Would a half-moon plakat fair better than other types of betta in this system? They seem to have shorter fins and be a touch huskier from their looks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank in advance.
