Should I be worried?

I changed my betta's water on Friday night and he has been spitting out his food ever since. I change him every weekend and he's in a 1 gallon tank. I use tap water that I condition with Tetra BettaSafe. He appears to be acting normal (other than rejecting most of his food) but I am worried that something is wrong. I feed him Betta BioGold. There is a small white dot on his fins that I haven't noticed before and one of his red pelvic fins appears bent (this I noticed awhile ago). I only got him a month ago and I'm not really sure what I should be looking for. I attached a picture of him that shows the little dot. It probably isn't abnormal, I just tend to be paranoid and I really want to take good care of him.

Thanks so much for any help!!!

If he ate normally before, then I am not sure, I would change the food to see if maybe he might be interested in something else, but I do see the dot, and not sure what it is..keep your eye on it, and if you see more, I would check with OFL (Old fish Lady) for her advice, she's the expert on the forum with sicknesses and diseases, and that could be the start of something.. in the meantime I would get some Aq salt and keep on hand just in case.

A one gal tank, should be changed 50% 2x a week and 100% every week..the more water change the better for a smaller amount of water.
