What kinda betta is Miss Piggy?

This is a fish that was given to me just recently as I have angelfish and have had bettas in . I'm told she's a 1+ year old female and that's about it. She's the most active and alert betta I've ever met but she looks a bit obese. Any suggestions as to the type, sex, or health of this betta is appreciated. Btw, the whitish looking spot on her back is actually a blue patch and has always been there. I'm pretty sure she's completely healthy aside from her weight.
Any ideas are much appreciated!

^agreed, You need to fast her for like 2 weeks, man! Looks like SOMEONE gave in to her begging.. remember they need about a quarter as many calories (proportional to size) as you do, and their stomach is the size of their eye! BUT my point is, have combtail? She reminds me of that

I think I will fast her for at least two or maybe three days and then start feeding her like one or two pellets a day until she begins to look a bit smaller. She's strong and active but super fat. She can handle missing a few meals I guess I'm used to my angelfish that eat me out of house and home.

Nice!

She isn't 'fat', she is eggy, which is perfectly fine for females.
