Exclamation Fish has been very entergetic and has developed a brown dot on the top of his head

My fish has been very entergetic for the past week and has developed a brown circle on the top of his head. Im very nervous due to the fact that he has been acting this way and he has been blowing up alot to get rid of prey but there is no other fish or anything in there so i havent been able to turn the light on and stuff but a week before everything was fine so im not sure whats going on with his entergeticness he has been hitting walls in tanks and the whole nine yards. I just dont want him getting hurt and if hes sick i want to get him treated.

If you could get a API FRESHWATER MASTER TEST KIT and check all your levels would be a great idea. I think you need more water changes and do smaller ones and then a big one once a week. Be sure and check you Ph when you do water changes to make sure its stable and at the same level each time. Good luck and best wishes to you and Cole.

Also make sure when you do water changes that the temp is the same or close as possible to the water he is in.
