It's 3gal it pretty big for a bowl.
The shrimp are red cherry shrimp Freddy will chase them only if they wake him up.

You could put 10 of them in that their bio load is like 5 to 1. I target feed them 3 times a week the rest of the time they just clean the tank.

you can probably only have a very well planted tank left alone for that long without impacting ita inhabitants. your cycle seems to have derailed a bit.
