my betta looks weird and kinda sick...

sorry for another thread on my sick betta, people, but my betta looks a little pale and every little sound he hears, he wildly thrashes around... and on one side of him, he has unusual colors on his tail and body... it's also happening on the other side, now. I don't know what I did wrong. Does anyone know what's going on with my betta??

"wildly thrashes around" -- how? does he stay in one place and sort of flail, or shake his head about, or spazz up and down the tank?

"unusual colours" - purple? grey/white fuzzy stuff?

Trying to be as exact as you can in your descriptions is a huge help to those who would try to help your fish.
