I thought I'd give an update/introduction since I've been without the internet for over a week (at least the storm left our power alone). Poor Amun Ra battled the worst case of ich which appeared quite suddenly but with some meds and warm water he seems back to his old self. The newest rescue Chilli (full name: Red Hot Chilli Pepper) came just before the internet went out. He was in horrible shape when we got him which I think I mentioned in the emergency section, but after a week of TLC he is doing quite well. He is also the most bubble nest building fishie I have ever seen. After his first water changes I counted 3 separate bubble nests in his tank! Here is his most recent picture.
I am also throwing in this pic of Espresso because he is a hateful thing (although well loved) and I thought this picture captured him perfectly although his body is at a funky angle. He doesn't know it yet but I think he is getting a new tank tomorrow, yay!
