Opinions on what to do with the fish afterwards?

cool! and yes I have ways to regulate the temperature in each jar. they will mostly be kept at 82-84 (best for fighting illness) but the temp in my room next to the other tank is around 74-76 from radiating heat, and if I wrap a towel around it I can get the jars to almost 78. Aslo, all the jars have betta-friendly plastic plants.

also, I think I WILL make a blog. When I get up and running I will let you all know lol ^_^ maybe end of summer, i dont want to leave fish alone while on vacation.

BUT ... Please be careful if you are going to sell them or give them away afterwards. The people who take them might not treat them well .... they might not know the best way to take care of Bettas.

I wish I could have a SUPER BIG FISH ROOM in my house so I could rescue and keep as many pet-store Bettas as I could.

I keep all my walmart sympathy purchases, thats how I ended up with 24 bettas when I lived in Alaska

There is a member on here that had people drop off unwanted bettas in their mailbox. I am pretty sure it was GreenTea that did it. They put up ads saying to drop off unwanted fish. You could PM them and see what they did with the fish. I think he/she sold them on here?

Maybe get in touch with a local animal shelter and see if they will let you display one for adoption. If it works out, you can keep one or 2 there all the time, replacing them as they get adopted.

Hats off to you in your mission! There are rescues for most animals, but none that I know of for bettas, and they are in desperate need! You are a wonderful person for this undertaking. :) If you need anything, let me know, and I'll keep on the lookout and see if I can find requirements at good prices and send them to you. :)

Thank you guy SO much! XD right now I only need a heater. I think I will make like a wordpress blog or something because that is free, or like a ffacebook page. I'm probably gunna start up this thing in august though, when all my vacations are finished.
