should I worry

I just got a Betta fish and his back fin twist a lil when he is relaxed. Today when we got home He had made his nest of bubbles for the first time. So he seems to be happy, eating, and active. Should I worry?

So far so good--making a bubble nest so soon is a sign of a happy fish!

If his fins are large and long, and if you have any sort of water current, it will pull their fins around. :) I wouldn't worry about him unless he shows some other signs of illness, like lethargy, not eating, breathing rapidly, swimming oddly, things like that. :)

Good luck to you, and I'm glad that he's a happy boy! :)

If he's active and alert he should be fine. :) Oh, and sorry I have to break it to you. When Betta Fish make bubblenests, it doesn't mean that they're happy. It's from their instinct for territory. As long as he's not lethargic or not eating, he should live. :D

Sorry... It's just that some people (Not aiming at anyone in this forum) think that bubblenests are a sign of happiness. Who made up that myth anyways? Literal, I take offense to. JK :P It's part of my personality. Well, sometimes. :)
