Well, its not his official name, but it may as well be after I saw him do this XD I decided to try and get him to flare, and this is what happened:

(He's in a 1 gallon bowl TEMPORARILY and I do cover it. There's a marimo moss ball, and a fake "moss" ball to keep nitrites down, as well as some bulbs and a plastic plant. That is indeed a heater you see there as well. I will eventually have a 6.6 gallon set up for him, once I find out where to put it)

It's obvious that he really just noticed his reflection and kept flaring lol. My betta Junior does that when I turn a light out in a room that his is in. Even though he has a light on in his tank.

Well, I gave him a mirror (which I normally don't do for him) so this is the first time he's had a chance to get a reeeeaaal good look at himself XD Sonas isn't as... well... speedy about it. He flares, shows his side, and struts. Doesn't dart, just struts lol Not this little guy
