Is it possibility for this to never heal?

Over a month ago i rescued a CT male with popeye from petsmart. Since then i have treated him with maracyn and epsom salt. he has showed no signs of deteriorating health and seems the same as he did when i first got him, is it possible that his eyes will never go back to normal? could he have just been born like this? he dosent really act like a sick fish, although he is more lethargic then the rest, he has a good appetite and even blew a bubblenest yesterday

it doesnt look like popeye and i think that you should use AQ salt. Also, if he hangs out at the bottom then he has popeye and if not then he was just born that way.

If he's not blind then its just defected genes..
It's not popeye because the swelling would look more reddish and less wierd shaped..

I'm glad you took him, betta like him usually die in the worst way..
This way he'll have a good life :)

oh so he isnt contagious or anything? can i put him in a tank with my other bettas now?
